While in Estes Park, the best way to get around is by private vehicle. Boulder Brook is located only 2 miles from downtown Estes Park, and 2 ½ miles to the Fall River Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. There are so many sights to see around town and in the National Park; Private vehicles are the best way to see them.

Visitors arriving from Denver International Airport are recommended to rent a vehicle at the airport and drive to Estes Park. It is roughly an 80-mile trip and can take up to 2 hours. If you prefer to take a shuttle from the airport to Estes Park, we want to point out that there is no rental car service in Estes Park. The Estes Park Shuttle (www.EstesParkShuttle.com) provides scheduled door-to-door services between DIA and Estes Park. Colorado Canyon Connection also offers service between Estes Park and Denver International Airport.

In the summer (July to early September) the Town of Estes Park has a free shuttle that runs through many areas of Town, including the Fall River corridor between Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park/the Visitor’s Center. This shuttle has stops near Boulder Brook. (www.estes.org/shuttles)   Parking is at a premium in downtown Estes Park and in the National Park during the summer months and we strongly recommend using the shuttles when possible.

Rocky Mountain National Park also has a “Hiker’s Shuttle” that takes visitors from the Estes Park Visitor’s Center into Rocky Mountain National Park.  This shuttle takes riders to the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center and then to the Park & Ride inside the park where other shuttles can take you to the Bear Lake region or the Moraine Park region of the Park.

Limited ride-share or taxi services are available in Estes Park.
