Scandinavian Festival

Bond Park

  • June 24, 2017 – June 25, 2017
  • Location: 170 MacGregor Ave, Bond Park, CO
  • Price: FREE

The festivities begin on Saturday with the raising of the MIDSUMMER POLE, followed by a GRAND MARCH ENTRANCE. Costumed representatives from each of the five Scandinavian countries enter the park carrying the flag of their country, followed by the playing of the national anthems of Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland.

Visitors can pay homage to this culture through the nearly 80 Scandinavian businesses that offer a variety of food, home décor, and traditional handcrafted items, such as pottery, fabric, woodworking, jewelry, painting, metal work, photography, glass and more.

All the offerings are inspired by the richly cultural region of Scandinavia.

Every good party needs music, dancing, Vikings and beer to celebrate Summer the Scandinavian way. You’re invited to the best party around!

Whether you just come for the raising of the Midsummer Pole or stay through until the last Viking has left the Feldberg Viking Village, the Scandinavian Midsummer Festival will become a tradition!
