Getting to the village of Estes Park is easy. There are no mountain passes to cross and the state and U.S. highways serving the area are easily driven. Entry routes to this high mountain valley, 7,522 feet above sea level surrounded by snowcapped peaks ranging from 8,500 to more than 14,000 feet high are from Loveland, Ft. Collins, Longmont, Boulder and Denver.

Between Memorial Day and early to mid-October, Estes Park also is accessible from the west by way of Trail Ridge Road (U.S. Highway 34) from Granby and Grand Lake.
