Take the kids to the Park – Rocky Mountain National Park, that is, where there are many free ranger-led programs geared for kids. Stop by the Fall River Visitor Center (just up the road from Boulder Brook) where children can touch animal skins, try on ranger uniforms, and learn about the animals that call the park home. Visit one of the park’s visitor centers or Junior Ranger Head quarters to pick up a free Junior Ranger activities booklet. There are age-specific booklets available for kids 5 and under; 6-8, and 9 and up.
