As you may have seen in recent news coverage, northern Colorado has received an extraordinary amount of rainfall in the last week. Flooding is widespread. The Town of Estes Park has experienced flooding on both the Fall River and the Big Thompson Rivers. Roadways into Estes Park are currently closed due to damage.
Due to these circumstances, Boulder Brook will be closed for at least the next week. We have some mud and debris on our grassy areas and parking lots. Our greater challenge is safe access into and out of Estes Park.
We have cancelled all reservation at Boulder Brook through Friday, September 19. We will evaluate over the next 48 hours whether we will have to cancel additional reservations. At this time, we believe we can be up and open for business soon if there are safe roadways into Estes Park. We will be issuing refunds of deposits to all guests whose reservations were cancelled. Please watch your email for confirmation of the refund.
We will continue to provide updates on our property on our website (www.BoulderBrook.com – select “Blog” at bottom of page)or on our Facebook page (www. https://www.facebook.com/BoulderBrookonFallRiver). Phone and internet service continue to be limited in Estes Park. There is no cell service.
Boulder Brook will recover from this crisis. For those of you who will not be able to visit us, we are so sorry that we are unable to deliver the vacation experience that you were looking forward to. Please visit Estes Park again in the future.
Sincerely, Kimberly & Christopher Campbell, General Managers
