Take a step back in time and explore the history of Estes Park at the Heritage Festival. Your entire family can participate, learning about the hearty pioneers who settled the region. As quilters and woodcarvers demonstrate their crafts nearby, children don leather gloves and help assemble a log home. 2. Rocky Mountain Chuck Wagon Cook Off

Welcome to the 1st Annual Rocky Mountain Chuck Wagon Cook-Off, brought to you by Estes Park Medical Center! Join us in Estes Park, at the Fairgrounds at Stanley Park, on August 10, 2013 for an authentic Chuck Wagon Cook-Off, featuring over 5 wagons. Enjoy live entertainment from Matt Skinner, a delicious menu and watch as these chef’s compete for the grand prize!
The fun starts at 4:30 p.m. at the Fairgrounds at Stanley Park. Dinner will be served starting at 6 p.m with an admission fee of $15 to include, a plated dinner, live entertainment and western activities for all ages. Please note participants are able to come and enjoy the western heritage at no cost. Refreshments will be available at an additional cost. Live entertainment will be performed by Matt Skinner, from 6-9 p.m.

3. Paint & Quarter Horse Show
Starts at 8:00 am on Saturday & Sunday
Competitors will test their skills in Western, English, Cow Horse, speed, driving and jumping disciplines.
